This story happened in the Surgery department.
A very nice HO Doctor named Dr. Al* graduated from Indonesia approached me during that day. To makes story short, he asked me If
I want to see the "something-something" procedure.
I'm not sure myself the name of that procedure.
The doctor said
" Go take the syringe *** cc (since syringe got so many sizes) and needle in that stroller"
Me: " Where Doctor? I cannot see it. this or this or this or this? *showed him one by one*
( hehe the secret .. actually I'm not sure which one he needs, to play safe I showed him this or this or this)
He smiled like he understood my trick. "the right hand is one cc that is why it smalls, go back home and study about the syringe sizes next time. give me that one" He explained
I passed to him everything he needs.
but nope nope he ordered me to take a small bottle of Anesthetic and passed it to him.
"Goshh.. to many small bottles inside the stroller.
Which one is anesthetic" Mumbled alone
A very naive me asked Doctor.
"Which one doctor, so many bottles inside here"
"Read the label. If you not sure, ask the nurse in front of you" the Doctor replied
hahaha
we all berborak mcm anak dengan ayah at pasar malam kan..
like "daddy daddy, this is a chicken or duck?" lol lol haha
JENG JENG JENG
THE PROCEDURE BEGAN
The Doctor: "Push all the Curtin to keep the patient privacy"
I did what he ordered me.
He smiled.
" Bend the needle, ** degrees"
ahaaaa this one I know!
so easy because I already learned it at the Emergency Department.
He smiled again with that teasing face.
He gave me a warning
"If you cannot stand to watch this, you can leave this room but If you want to stay learn from what I do"
of course, I want to stay
I'm a brave person. Daaaa *PLOT twist will happen next*
He opened the bandage that covered around a patient's stomach.
He looked at me and smiled.
His face showed the reaction " I told you, I told you"
Slowly,
He took out the intestine inside the stomach.
Yes, I touched the real intestine before this but It was from the dead body.
and Infront of my eyes was a real intestine, still red in color.
got blood and so many real colors.
There were some conversation and procedure happened during that time but let it be private and confidential.
Wow wow
Suddenly,
my vision turned blurry
I can't breath
I went out from the cubicle to take a depth breath and fresh air
I can't stand this, unexpectedly.
so
I walked
I walked outside that ward
I can't see anything, blurry
and I heard a small voice
"come here come here, be strong" and she held my hand and guided me to the bed
I laid down on the bed.
Feel nothing.
I think, I fainted kot.
Once I opened up my eyes.
Tadaaa There were two doctors in front of me
Three nurses.
and one OF the doctor asked me
" hah, finally, apa jadi sebenarnya?"
"What happened ?"
So, I told him the story of how come I fainted. He laughed "first time eh? biasala student lagi. Tak apa I go first, you rest well. Nurse, tolong tengok adik ni"
very nice kan...
and Both of them left me.
and the nurse offered me a hot drink while massaged my back.
My friend from the other department came and visited me
and sent me to my dad's car.
I LOVE YOU SHANRKEE MANIK 💌
you are my best friend forever!!
At first, she worried
but after few hours later she "bahan" me
and THE NEXT DAY
The Matron "bahan" me
"baru tengok sikit darah dah pengsan...."
me : "haha what to do Matron, things happened"
continued pula senior nurse "bahan" me
" I heard from other nurses you fainted yesterday, How come?" while smiling
me: hahaha I don't knowwwwwwww.
Shankree besides me of course she "kekeekeke" laughed. Sooo annoying hahaha.
many and many more.
Too many stories.
Too many experiences.
Too many situations.
Thank you to all nice DOCTORS and Medical Assistances because give me chances to learn many things and do something in order to help me learning and gaining experiences.
People respected the Doctor because of the title.
but for me,
I respected the medical Doctors because of their sacrifices, bravery, patience, and so many things.
I have been in wards for many months and saw many things. I really respected doctors because they all can endure all of such situations. I learned a lot about life from these experiences.
